Free Rivers Therapy is built on a deep connection to nature and the healing journeys that we, as humans, can choose to go on. By using a river as a metaphor for life, we are able to explore not only where we are and where we are going, but how the past is still impacting the current. Many of us have blocks in our river, mechanisms that once served a purpose and are now getting in the way of us living our best life. Lets unblock your river.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Strengths Based. Ecosystems Approach. EMDR. I move in and out of approaches based off what my clients' needs are. While I am well versed in the classic therapy approaches, I find that a modern approach resonates well with my clients.
Everyone is welcome. Anyone who has an experience(s) that you cannot seem to get past. If you feel stuck and do not know how to move forward.
The consultation call is free, this is our introduction call and afterwards you get to decide if I am a good fit for your goals. If you decide to move forward, your intake appointment is $90 and all sessions following are $110. Clients are billed through a HIPPA compliant site. If finances are a barrier to your healing journey, please inquire about how many sliding scale spots are available.
I am currently only accepting virtual clients. I provide therapeutic services to clients who reside in Virginia through HIPPA compliant services called Simple Practice.
Please feel free to reach out at any time,

Authenticity. Curiosity. Healing. Growing. Community. Empowerment. My path has always included helping others find their voice and ground to stand on, this led me to outdoor education and ultimately, clinical social work.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia. I love working with people who are in transitional periods of their life. I have significant experience working with adolescents and adults in and out of crisis, individual and group work focused on reducing anxiety, grief, avoidance, maladaptive coping mechanisms, and trauma.
I love spending time with my two dogs, Nala and Zara. I cherish my time spent with my family and friends, adventuring and playing outside. I go to nature to refuel, recharge and destress.
